The V-Drums V71: The Beating Heart

The V71 drum module is the flagship of the Roland V-Drums Series and comes loaded with drum samples from the renowned DW Soundworks collection. You can easily gain access to more sounds by connecting the module to the Roland Cloud via Wifi while, thanks to the balanced XLR stereo outputs and eight balanced outputs, every part of your kit can be sent out separately, making things really easy for your sound tech or mix engineer.

Digital Pads

Two or three triggers simply don't do justice to the full sonic spectrum of a drum or a cymbal. Thankfully, Roland's digital pads give you the expressiveness of acoustic drums, where every square centimetre of the drumhead sounds slightly different. In addition to the PDA-100, PDA-120 and PDA-140F pads with authentic wooden shells, the VAD716 kit features a VH-14D digital hi-hat pad, a CY-18DR ride, and a PD-14DSX snare pad with built-in throw-off lever so you switch the virtual snare wires on and off and tweak the string tension as needed — all to guarantee the most natural playing feel possible.
